In addition to the regularly scheduled mediation trainings of Basic, Family/Custody/Divorce, Elder and Advanced Transformative, MCMC offers specific workshops for individual groups that can be tailored to your needs, and that can be held at our offices or in your location. Some examples are “Conflict is Not a Dirty Word”, “How to Have Productive Conversations in the Midst of Conflict”, “The True Cost of Conflict in the Workplace”, and “How to Effectively Deal with Difficult Clients”. We also have available trainings for school peer mediation, health care facilities and faith based organizations. Information about specific workshops will be posted as they are scheduled.
MCMC provides twice yearly training for Youth Aid Panel (YAP) community volunteers. Please see the YAP application if you are interested in becoming a volunteer and taking the no cost training.
In order to provide continuing education for our family mediators, MCMC holds quarterly dinner meetings with a speaker, topic of interest, and opportunity to interact and discuss issues with other mediators. More information is available at Mediator Dinners.
