Neighbor Disputes
Peace in the community is the goal of providing a mediation setting for issues that arise among neighbors or in neighborhoods, such as boundary disputes, landlord/tenant problems, noise disturbances, vandalism and other quality of life issues.
Municipal governments have sought the assistance of MCMC mediators to help resolve problems that may or may not require police intervention. Local District Judges make referrals to MCMC where appropriate. Mediation offers a way for community members to improve their interaction and ability to communicate in a positive way.
