Debra Hightower

Debbie has served on the Board since 2004. She has also served as a volunteer for MCMC for more than ten years, as a Youth Aid Panel member and the office administrator. Debbie is a facilitator for the Victim Offender Conferencing program and a YAP trainer. She especially enjoys working with adolescents. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Temple University and has worked in pharmaceutical sales and quality control. She has taught Art Appreciation in the “Art Goes to School” program.

Seth Kaufer, D.O.

Seth joined the Board in 2009 and is a member of the Outreach and Marketing Committees. He is a Gastroenterology Fellow at Drexel School of Medicine. Seth is interested in promoting mediation in health care settings

Barbara Delp

Barbara joined the Board in 2010. She is Senior Research Editor, Global Scripture Impact for the American Bible Society in Wayne, PA. Barbara is the former Executive Director of The Reporter in Lansdale, PA. She has served as a volunteer on the Youth Aid Panel for over ten years.

David M. Doto, Esq.

David is our newest Board member, having joined us in 2011. He was a litigator for approximately 17 years before he became devoted to alternative dispute resolution. His main office is in Berwyn, PA and he also has offices in Las Vegas, Nevada where he serves as a court appointed mediator and a Judge Pro Tem. He also mediates for the Philadelphia Municipal Court and the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. He is a member of the dispute resolution sections of numerous bar associations, the Pennsylvania Council of Mediatiors, and Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution. David is a 1991 graduate of Villanova School of Law and is pursuing an LLM in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution of Pepperdine School of Law.

Victoria L. Salvo

Vicky joined the Board in 2009. She is currently the Chairman of the Marketing Committee. Vicky has her M.S. in Counseling and has counciled adolescents and young adults in school districts thoughout Montgomery County. Vicky and her husband Paul have served on the YAP for several years. She has been trained in Basic Mediation. Vicky is currently a Psychology professor at Montgomery County Community College. She is President of Victoria Leather Co., Inc.; domestic manufacturer of leather handbags in Harleysville, PA.

Cathy Black

Cathy has been a Board member since 2007. She is a volunteer fundraiser for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Germantown Academy. She is a 1982 graduate of Temple University with a B.A. in Business Administration. She has had extensive experience as an accountant and consultant

Peter E. Bort, J.D.

Peter E. Bort, J.D. Peter joined the Board again in 2009 after having served a term in the 1990’s. Peter is an attorney and mediator. His private practice concentrates on family, estate, probate and real estate law, all within a collaborative framework.

Peter serves on the MCMC panel of custody mediators for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Peter belongs to numerous Montgomery Bar Association committees as well as the Pa. Council of Mediators, the Association of Conflict Resolution and the Academy of Family Mediators.
